The project is located in the Pierraz Frettaz neighbourhood of Thoiry (01170), at 20 minutes driving distance from the centre of Geneva. With its back to the Jura Mountains and facing the Alps, the town of Thoiry (population 5,500 inhabitants) has managed to keep its village spirit, whilst being close to the Geneva urban district (10 km) at the same time.
The property is located 1 km from the centre of Thoiry.
The development consists of 5 buildings that comprise apartments ranging from T2 to T5, using the French size codes – T2: 1 room, T3: 2 rooms, T4: 3 rooms, T5: 4 rooms.
The sizes of the apartments are approximately T2 = 48 sq.m, T3 = 75 sq.m, T4=100 sq.m, T5 = 150 sq.m.
The apartments feature refined shapes, modern design and large spaces.
Buildings A, B, C have 3 floors, Buildings D, E have 4 floors.
The apartments at first level have private gardens. The ones upstairs have generously proportioned balconies that are ideal for spending time outdoors. The loft apartments feature large terraces and offer a superb, almost 360° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.
Apartments will be heated by a collective gas-fired condensing boiler completed by solar panels. They will also be fitted with low temperature floor heating controlled by an ambience thermostat, glazed stone tiles with matching skirting for the living areas, laminated parquet flooring in bedrooms, wall-hung WC units with hand-basins, a vanity unit with mirror and large terraces or balconies with decking in composite or wood slats.
The development has ground-level guest parking facilities in the middle and a single access way serving all of the private parking spaces in the basement.
The outside parts have been designed to serve as real meeting points, featuring wide pedestrian paths, benches and lighting columns to enhance the feeling of safety after nightfall. Special attention has been paid to the vegetation and tree arrangements, with an array of fine species, ornamental plants and lawns.
A rare feature is that the development has a private crèche. It is located just a few steps away from the five buildings and run by qualified staff who can look after residents’ children.
The buildings are energy-efficient thanks to internal heat insulation, gas central heating, solar panels and have effective sound insulation.
